Vermont Socks started with a simple frustration: most socks fall apart after a season on the trail. We set out to make something better — socks worth keeping, worth gifting, worth wearing every day.
Every pair is designed with Vermont in mind. The terrain here asks a lot of your feet — cold mornings, muddy trails, long days on the mountain, long nights by the fire. Our collections are built around those moments, not abstract performance metrics.
We use merino wool blends for the trail and warm-weather collections, and cotton-rich yarns for everyday wear. Nothing synthetic where wool will do. Nothing heavy where lightweight is right.
